理事を務めるBDTIで主催する、ガバナンス・インサイト・ラウンドテーブル、第一回が終了しました。
今日の講師は、理事仲間の日清食品HD社外取締役の中川有紀子さん。
実務家としてグローバル人事を長く経験され、プライム上場企業の社外取締役を6社歴任されてきた経験をもとに実務家、アカデミア、社外取締役の3つの視点から、人的資本経営についてのレクチャーをしてくださいました。
参加者の皆さんも、上場企業の社外取締役、社内取締役、外資系企業の役員、投資家が中心。
取締役として、投資家として、それぞれの角度から、人的資本経営について議論し合う、有意義な時間になりました。
私はファシリテーター役を務めました。

The first “BDTI Governance Insight Roundtable” was held yesterday.
The speaker was Yukiko Nakagawa (PhD) , an independent director of Nissin Foods HD.
She gave a lecture on human capital management from three perspectives: practitioner, academician, and independent director, based on her experience in global human resources as a practitioner and as an independent director of six prime listed companies.
The 20 participants included BDTI training participants, independent directors of prime listed companies, internal directors, executives of global companies, and investors.
Based on Nakagawa-san’s presentation, the participants had a meaningful time discussing human capital management from their own angles as directors and as investors.
The next session, “Corporate ESG Assessment by Investment Management Firms,” will be held on September 12.
The Governance Insight Roundtable is held every month with a different theme.
This is a great opportunity for those who want to broaden their knowledge on a wide range of topics and improve their ability to discuss them.
